Final Mission

Dear aspiring agents, after nearly 8 months of hard work, it is time to reveal your final mission. For your final mission you will create an agent portfolio page using iWeb. This page, if you are accepted as an agent into the PACE Technology Agency, will serve as your personal agent information page in the PTA agent directory. For instructions on how to create a web page using iWeb, please refer to page 382 in your iLife ‘08 field guide.

You will need to include the following on your agent web page:

    1. Your Agent Name. This is your secret name by which you will be known to other PTA agents and staff.

    2. An agent picture in your favorite disguise. This can be a disguise that you created or you can use Photobooth or iWeb to create an affect which alters your picture.

    3. A short biography or history of yourself. Remember, as an agent you don’t want to give away persona; information so I want you to make up a fake biography. Did you grow up in the Amazon jungle? Were you a lion trainer for the circus before becoming an agent recruit? Are you really an alien like the ones from Men in Black? Put it all in your biography… Be creative…

    4. Any other movies, podcasts, or pictures that you would like to include which will help the PTA when making final decisions for who will ultimately be chosen as an agent. You can include as much or as little as you want as long as you include the first three components listed above.

    To share your final mission, please save your webpage as a PDF. To save your page as a PDF, follow these instructions:

  • With your webpage open in iWeb, go to File in the menu bar and choose print.
  • In the lower left corner of your print menu, you will see a PDF button. Click that and choose Save as PDF.
  • Save the page as your first name and last initial and then the word webpage, all as one word. An example would be tonybwebpage.
  • Save the file to the Desktop to make it easy to find. Sometimes if you do not choose desktop the computer will automatically save it to the Documents folder in your home folder. You can check there if you can’t find it…

    • Finally, to share your PDF, upload the PDF to my MobileMe Public Folder, using the same instructions found under the April missions tab.

    As I have stated, this will be your final mission. I will be contacting all successful candidates with further instructions before the end of the June. Good luck and be safe. I have enjoyed training with each of you.
